Dance of the Deer Screening + Talkback

Celebrate Summer Solstice with the return of Dance of the Deer! This ritual theater performance guided by Jocelynn Suarez, immerses you in a vast desert full of thriving plant life, profound visions, and hidden medicine. Weaving together song, dance, storytelling, trance journeying, and captivating video design, Jocelynn releases old stories to make space for the arrival of Kauyumari, the ancient blue deer who who shares life-giving gifts of flowers, corn, and hikuri (peyote).
